My name is Sabita Singh Kamnani, and I am dedicated to helping adults and adolescents navigate their unique challenges and achieve lasting positive change. My approach is founded on the belief that the most difficult times in life are often opportunities for the greatest transformation, and it is my honor to be a positive and supportive presence on your journey toward healing and discovery. I am currently completing my Master of Education while pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My counseling practice is uniquely supported by a 20-year career as an educator. This extensive experience has given me a deep, practical understanding of family dynamics, child development, and the complexities of modern households.

I am committed to creating an inclusive and affirming space for everyone, offering insightful support for a wide range of situations, including life transitions, relational challenges, and identity issues. I also bring a focused depth of experience to specific areas, including supporting families navigating challenges related to special needs or exceptional abilities. Additionally, I provide compassionate and informed support for individuals and couples processing the emotional weight and grief associated with reproductive stress and infertility.

I also offer support to clients dealing with the complexities of living between cultures, identity issues, and intergenerational family dynamics. My perspective is grounded in my own experiences navigating family life and parenthood, which adds to my comprehensive understanding of life’s many chapters. As family counselor Eda LeShan once said, “We do not have to be heroes to be strong. We can find the reservoirs of strength within ourselves and then use them in ways we never thought possible.” I look forward to partnering with you on a path of healing, discovery, and positive change.

Areas I can help with:

  • Life transitions and major changes
  • Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
  • Relationship and communication challenges
