Jared Trost, M.Ed, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Mark Cagle, LPC-Supervisor
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or past trauma, or if you’re struggling with navigating difficult family dynamics or workplace pressures, I’m here to support you on your journey toward healing and wholeness. I understand that seeking counseling can feel like a big step, but I believe it’s an act of self-compassion—and I’m honored to walk alongside you as you explore, heal, and grow.

Before becoming a counselor, I spent years working in the high-stress world of corporate finance. I experienced firsthand how burnout, internal politics, and strained relationships can take a toll on mental and physical health. I realized unresolved trauma and anxiety can play a significant role in how we respond to stress and pressure. This realization led me to transition into counseling, so I could help others avoid the same pitfalls and find healthier ways to cope with stress, trauma, and anxiety
I specialize in supporting people dealing social anxiety, complex PTSD and childhood trauma (including neglect, abuse, and difficult family dynamics), and career stress/burnout. If you’re carrying the weight of past experiences that have shaped the way you relate to others and yourself, I can help you make sense of it and find a path to healing. Whether you’re dealing with family estrangements, work-related stress, or feelings of isolation, I’m here to offer a safe space where you can explore these challenges without judgment.
In our work together, I value kindness, authenticity, and a deep respect for your unique perspective. My approach is centered on creating a trusting, collaborative relationship where you feel heard, supported, and empowered. I believe in your ability to heal and grow, and I’ll help you tap into your own strength to create meaningful change.
