Meet Ozvaldo

Ozvaldo Esparza is a graduate counseling intern supervised by Mark Cagle,  LPC-Supervisor. Grounded in his Hispanic heritage and fluency in Spanish, Ozvaldo approaches counseling with a multicultural perspective, valuing and honoring his clients’ unique cultural identities. With a decade of experience as an educator and a steadfast commitment to his Christian faith, Ozvaldo brings a unique blend of empathy, understanding, and spirituality to his counseling practice. Driven by a desire to provide more encompassing support, he transitioned to mental health counseling, underscoring his commitment to addressing emotional and psychological needs beyond the confines of the classroom. He is currently pursuing his counseling degree at Lamar University, driven by a deep desire to make a positive difference in the lives of those he serves.

Ozvaldo is dedicated to establishing a secure and nurturing environment for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. He firmly believes in each individual’s distinctive capacity for healing and personal development and remains steadfast in his commitment to assisting clients in realizing their therapeutic goals. Ozvaldo specializes in aiding individuals in navigating various challenges, including depression, premarital counseling, marital relationships, anxiety, pre-engagement, anger management, work stress, conflict resolution, spiritual guidance, and family conflicts. With a comprehensive approach and deep empathy, he strives to empower clients to overcome obstacles and achieve greater fulfillment.
